​We strive to inspire girls and underserved communities to develop interest and confidence in STEM through quality hands-on activities

IoT For Good Technical Workshop at Riyada Youth Innovation Summer Program - Beirut Digital District


During this 2-week program, we trained and mentored youth aged 14-18 to create projects using IoT to tackle environmental issues. Participants learned to design and program circuits and connect them to the Internet.
​At the end of the program, participants were able to transform their innovative ideas into working prototypes.

JSConf EU & Asia

Deploying and Building WebThings Workshop by Mozilla


 We assisted the Mozilla Team in their workshop at JSConf EU in Berlin and led the workshop at JSConf Asia in Singapore. We demonstrated Mozilla's WebThings Gateway, an IoT framework to protect user privacy and security, and to improve cross-brand interoperability. We also showed how to develop and build custom "web things" out of microcontroller boards, and got hands-on with MicroBlocks.

Innovation and IoT Workshops at GGIT Beirut & Chouf - Lebanon


The workshop was designed to provide an introduction to IoT technology and innovation for girls aged 15 to 17.
It was broken down into hands-on projects based on an environmental use case and into presentations with demos and in-depth exercises.

  • Understanding the benefits of Internet of Things
  • Learning how to model, connect, analyze and build an IoT platform
  • Introduction to code development using Makecode and MicroBlocks
  • Building an end-to-end device using electronic components and a Micro:bit
  • Understanding and testing micro-computers and programmable boards such as the Micro:bit and the Circuit Playground 
  • Acquiring skills in the use and functionality of sensors used in IoT applications
